Introducing compound words will make your child feel like a superhero. Compound words are formed with two smaller words combine to form a new word. This fundamental skills will help you child late on when combining individual sounds to form short words.

Have your child match two corresponding pictures together to guess the new compound word. As they get better, you can also scramble the pictures and see if they can correctly match them together.
