Superhero Sounds

Practice beginning sounds of a word by dressing up in a superhero costume! Place a letter card in an envelope labelled "Top Secret," and tell your child you have a superhero mission that they need to accomplish. Then, tell them that they need to collect five items from around the house that start with the letter revealed in the envelope. This activity is great for practicing some of the tricky letters that your child may be struggling with, such as b and d.

If you need letter cards, we have provided some that are ready for you to print. Letter cards can be a staple for early readers, so we recommend that you consider buying some sturdier ones.
