Dab and Dot

Dab and Dot

In the classroom and at home, I love using Dab and Dot markers and so does Claire! I have used them to teach colors, improve dexterity, create fun art and best of all... learn letters. If you child is learning letters at a young age, like Claire, writing with a pencil can be frustrating as small hands are not ready to hold a pencil properly. It takes a little bit of practice to use these markers, but it's not too difficult for your child to figure these out. They do not dry out and no spill or splatter. Here are my favorite dabber markers on Amazon.

This activity requires little prep, is mess free, and is one of the most fun solo activities that your kid can quietly do. Using the fun Dot Art markers, your child will search for the letter on the page and dot the letter. As your child searches for a letter, they will compare the curves, edges, and patterns to other letters on the page. I have included 26 pages to include all letters of the alphabet, but feel free to just pick out a few that your child is currently working on.
